Aquonyx Water Systems
Lifestyle Water System installs Aquonyx whole-house filtration, filter-and-softener and drinking water systems for homes in Summerville, SC and the surrounding Lowcountry. Every system is chosen after we look at your water and the way your household uses it, then installed by our own team.

The systems we install
Not every home needs the same equipment. Our flagship is the Diamond Filter/Softener Combo, which filters and softens in a single tank. If softening is not needed, we offer a carbon-only whole-house filter, and for the kitchen sink we offer a dedicated 4-stage drinking water system. We recommend the one that fits your water, never the most expensive one by default.
Our go-to system for homes that deal with both hard water and chlorine. A carbon filter and a softener share one 10 x 54 tank, so every faucet, shower and appliance in the house receives softened water with less chlorine, taste and odor.

A whole-house carbon filter without a softener, built for homes whose main complaint is the chlorine taste and smell of city water. A full cubic foot of coconut carbon sits in a compact 10 x 44 tank. If your water is also hard, the Combo above handles both jobs.

A 4-stage reverse osmosis system that gives you filtered drinking and cooking water from its own chrome faucet at the kitchen sink. Two pre-filters protect a 50 GPD membrane, an inline carbon filter polishes the taste, and a 4-gallon tank keeps water ready when you need it.

How it works
A quick walk through the Diamond Filter/Softener Combo, from the carbon at the top of the tank to the salt tank beside it.
The Combo is a single 10 x 54 tank in a black jacket with a 16 x 40 brine tank next to it. That one tank carries both the filter and the softener.
Carbon and softening resin sit in separate layers on a gravel base. Water passes through the carbon first, then the resin.
The carbon layer is where chlorine, taste and odor are reduced before the water moves on.
The resin captures the minerals that make water hard, which is what cuts scale on fixtures and spots on glass.
The valve on top runs the cycles. It pulls brine from the salt tank to refresh the resin so it keeps softening.
This is the only part you need to look after day to day: add salt when it runs low. A safety float keeps the tank from overfilling.
Made in the USA
We install Aquonyx because every softener, whole-home filter and reverse osmosis unit is assembled, filled, tested and packed at the same U.S. facility. We would rather put a system in your home that we can trust ourselves.
Aquonyx builds on many years of U.S. water treatment manufacturing, which means replacement parts stay available and the valve platform can be serviced by any trained technician.
Valves are staged, tanks are filled with media and finished units are run on live plumbed water lines before they ship.
Qualifying Aquonyx systems, including the Diamond Combo and carbon filtration, carry a lifetime limited manufacturer warranty.
